SĒTU Consultants were appointed to deliver a full 360° development and positioning strategy for the project. The scope included concept creation, wellness programming, service architecture, brand alignment, operational planning, recruitment support, and integration of sustainable practices.

Gili Lankanfushi, formerly known as Soneva Gili until its rebrand in 2012, is a unique luxury property that brings a Robinson Crusoe fantasy to life. Featuring expansive overwater villas and a strong commitment to sustainability, the resort embodies barefoot luxury at its finest.
Our role was to manage the complete rebrand and development of Meera Spa & Wellness. “Meera,” meaning “ocean” in Sanskrit, reflects the resort’s deep connection to its surroundings. The consultant’s scope included concept development, treatment creation, partnerships with luxury organic skincare brands, procurement of FF&E and OE, as well as recruitment.

Perched high on the rocky Witwatersrand, Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff, Johannesburg offers a serene retreat above South Africa’s largest city. Despite its central location, the hotel feels like a chic hillside village, with nine sun-drenched villas woven together by courtyards, fountains, and lush gardens.
Our role was to design the spa for this luxury property, overseeing the full development of the spa suites, outdoor pool and spa lounge, hydrotherapy facilities, and back-of-house areas.

Fairmont and Raffles are internationally recognised luxury hospitality brands, known for their heritage properties, refined service standards, and commitment to delivering distinctive guest experiences across iconic destinations worldwide. With portfolios spanning historic landmarks, resort sanctuaries, and contemporary urban addresses, both brands represent the highest tier of global luxury hospitality.
Our role was to recruit and train experienced spa therapists in specialized treatment modalities for their luxury properties in Egypt, Seychelles, and Dubai.

Hard Rock Hotels is an internationally recognised lifestyle hospitality brand, known for its music-driven identity, vibrant energy, and immersive guest experiences. With properties spanning resort and urban destinations worldwide, the brand blends entertainment, design, and contemporary luxury into a distinct hospitality offering.
Our role was to refresh and reposition their spa brand, Rock Spa. The project included the creation of a new brand identity, development of an updated treatment menu, and the introduction of new product lines. The success of the initiative led to elements of the concept being adopted by Hard Rock Hotels USA.

Akoya Spa is a high-altitude urban wellness destination located on the 47th and 48th floors of Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81, one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic mixed-use developments. The spa was conceived as a refined sanctuary that translates Balinese healing philosophy into a contemporary city context a “Bali in the Sky” experience overlooking Ho Chi Minh City.
Our role was to support the strategic positioning and operational development of the spa within a landmark urban hospitality environment. The scope included concept refinement, service architecture, operational planning, and alignment of the wellness offering with both international travellers and the city’s growing lifestyle market.

The spa at Royal Orchid Sheraton underwent a strategic post-pandemic revival to reposition it within Bangkok’s evolving luxury wellness landscape in it's second Mandara era. The objective was to re-energise the offering and reconnect with both hotel guests and the local urban audience.
Our role was to lead the concept refinement and activation strategy. The scope included service recalibration, introduction of a refined Balinese–Thai fusion identity, experiential programming, and collaborative spa events aligned with Bangkok’s dynamic wellness scene.
The result was a revitalised spa concept — culturally grounded, commercially responsive, and re-integrated into the city’s vibrant lifestyle market.

We supported the strategic expansion of wellness operations across five key regions of Vietnam for one of the country’s fastest-growing hospitality groups. The objective was to elevate the spa offering with a cohesive identity and internationally aligned service standards.
The scope included the introduction of Balinese-inspired hospitality treatments, integration of international skincare partnerships, and alignment of operational frameworks across multiple properties. The focus was on creating consistency, cultural differentiation, and scalable commercial performance.
The result was a strengthened wellness platform across diverse resort and city locations — balancing regional relevance with international guest expectations.
